As announced on our News page, we have stepped up a gear in our pursuit of competitive gaming. At present we are registered on two separate ladder sites; ESL and Clan Base.

The immediate future will see us looking at the 5v5 ESL ladder then progressing onto the ESL 8v8 ladder shortly afterwards. Then as numbers and interest begins to build, team leaders have been appointed and pending feedback on the ESL matches, we will look at the possibility of progress to increasing matches on Clan Base or another popular ladder provider. Ultimately it is hoped a second team consisting of more motivated/committed players will be produced for an elite team that can play more competitively on the same ladder sites. That's the overall general plan anyway.

What You need to do

Any of our BF3 members who want to take part in any BF3 ladder scrims must ensure they are first of all eligible to do so. Scrimming is a serious business and players must ensure they have taken time to prepare their accounts and done the required administration first, failure to do so will mean you may not be able to play or worse still may force our team to forfeit.

Step 1- Website Accounts

You first of all need to register an account on the ESL website;

Step 2 - Game Account Registration

Once you have your account on the website you need to ensure you have registered your BF3 account.

To do this Select "settings" from your username menu at the top left of the screen. From here you are presented with various user account settings, select "game accounts (steamID)". You will then be promoted to select your game (BF3) and input your in game name. You must ensure its the correct in-game name and update this if you change your IGN.


Step 3 - Team Affiliation

On ESL BSB has an over all clan listing as well as several sub-teams for various games. Its important to register for both, for future expansion. when prompted for a joining password just leave this blank.

Step 4 - Rules

In order to participate it is essential that you are familiar with the rules of this particular ladder. Please read and try to understand them BEFORE attending training/matches.

Step 5 - BSB Eligibility/Team Access

Finally in order to have access to the resources such as the match team tactics boards on the forum and to show up in the eligible teams list you must add your BF3 character (in-game name) to your account here on our website. TO do this select "account settings" from your username menu at the top left.


Progress & Information

Once under way progress on our league position, upcoming matches, results team eligibility, ladder activity etc. will be available from our BF3 ladder page, from the "Events Menu". Members are also encourage to regularly check and participate on discussions in the "Match Teams" boards on the forum. If you can't see these boards and you are a full member of BSB report to it to Jumpmaster, Trurl or myself.
