The 7.2 patch has given us new avenues with tiered company battles . Now , We could team up in teams of 15 and stir up a storm in the company battles arena .To kick start our regular feature in the form of "Company Battles" we would be starting off with a "World of tanks - Company Battles Night" on the "9th-Feburary-2012" .

The tier structure requirements as depicted below , The points represent the sum total of the tier of tanks

Up to Teir 4 (Junior) - Points - 20-40 ([Medium] Teir 2-4 [Heavy] Teir 4 [TD] Teir 2/3 [Lights] Teir 1-3 [Arty] Teir 2/3)
Up to Teir 6   (Medium)- Points - 40-60 ([Medium] Teir 2-6 [Heavy] Teir 4-6 [TD] Teir 2-6 [Lights] Teir1-4 [Arty] Teir 2-4)
Up to Teir 8 (Champion) - Points - 60-90 ([Medium] Teir 2-8 [Heavy] Teir 4-8 [TD] Teir 2-8 [Lights] Teir1-8 [Arty] Teir 2-6)
Teir 10   (Absolute) - Points - 150 ([Medium] Teir 2-9 [Heavy] Teir 4-10 [TD] Teir 2-9 [Lights] Teir1-8 [Arty] Teir 2-8)

"World of tanks - Company Battles Night" - Edition 1
1). The event would be open to all members and some militia members by invite only
2). The event would be played between Junior / Medium / Champion
3). It would be nice to have a mix of teirs , But if you dont have it , Its still Ok .Just make sure that you have atleast one tank for each teir .

Our Company of Heroes Championship Ladder has got off to an excellent start with around 10 players already signed up and several matches already having be been played. For those who weren’t aware, the ladder is accessible from our Events Menu (it’s hosted externally and requires registration/login).

It’s a 1v1 ladder , whereby the challenger decides the map and who plays as which faction. The full rules can be found on the ladder it’s self, but generally the games are 1v1, USA vs Wehrmact only, 500 Victory points, standard resources and random starting locations. I would also urge participants to "rematch” after the initial challenge match has taken place, with the challenger and opponent switching factions, so two matches are actually played with each player playing as Allied and Axis factions.

At the end of January, the player sitting at the top of the CoH Ladder will be declared "BSB Champion” , awarded a ribbon and recorded on our website. So if you haven’t signed up already get signed up today! Matches can be played at the leisure of the participants within 7 days of a challenge being made but Inactive players get dropped from the league automatically so please try to play as much as you can.  Results can be added retrospectively also, so if you see another participating member online and fancy a game, feel free to do so!
